BLOG: Thank you for your partnership

I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. Philippians 1:3-5 (NIV)

Thank you for supporting AWM-Pioneers. Whether through prayer, giving, or engaging with how we share what God is doing in the Arab world, we are so grateful for your partnership. We have been reflecting recently on what the Lord has been doing in this region, and how He has used our faithful supporters to expand His Kingdom in the Arab world.

Below are just a few ways where your support has made a lasting difference:

Sending out new workers

We thank God that five new workers have been sent out to the mission field with a further three appointed as members of AWM-Pioneers who are now seeking where the Lord is leading them to serve.

Caring for families in Lebanon

The economic crisis in Lebanon continues to cause hardship especially for poorer families. This year, we helped provide food and medical care to the 3,000 families our local partner has a close relationship with.

ARABS ARE COMING TO CHRIST

I searched in Islamic books for long periods and read about many other religions. They couldn’t convince me as they are built upon myth or based upon fear. But when I read about Jesus’ life, I couldn’t find any hint that pushed me to doubt. His life, His words, His actions are true. I gave my life to Jesus and left my old beliefs, people, and family to start afresh for Him.

A believer in the Arab world

Training up believers from a Muslim background

Recently 90 believers from a Muslim background in the Arab world attended a 10-month online ministry training school through PALM (Preparing Arab-world Leaders for Ministry) on leading discipleship groups and local churches within the Arab world.

Looking forwards

This year we are looking forward to connecting with our members face-to-face where possible, to encourage and support them in their ministry. We are also excited to meet new people and encourage them on their journey to serving in the Arab world. Please pray for our workers, both current and future, as they seek the Lord, and pray for us as we seek to encourage them.
