This fund has been set up in memory of a remarkable, grace-filled and humble follower of Jesus who served the Lord faithfully before passing into glory at the age of twenty-seven. She was affectionately known as MaYa (her Arabic name) to many people.
Melody was born in North Africa, was raised speaking Arabic, French and English and devoted her life to making Jesus known to those around her.
Melody, along with her husband, invested in young people, encouraged and nurtured new believers and were passionate about seeing disciples make disciples in their part of North Africa.
One of Melody’s favourite Bible verses captures how she approached her life and ministry and how she would like to be remembered.
‘But seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.’ Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
Donations to this fund will be used to help short and mid-term financial needs related to the bereavement and to bless ministries that were close to Melody’s heart.
