OPPORTUNITY: Inside Out – the All Nations gap year

Would you like the opportunity to thrive, learn, and be equipped in a Christian community, combined with the adventure of seeing what God is doing in the Arab World? If so, Inside Out is the gap year for you!

AWM-Pioneers in collaboration with All Nations College is running an exciting gap year programme from September 2021 to July 2022.

Receive mentoring and pastoral care in a tutor group to nurture your faith and help you connect with God in a deeper way.

What to expect

Gappers will primarily be based at All Nations Christian College where they will experience:

Living in community
En-Route: a 10-week programme of essential training that covers the basics of cross-cultural mission.
Volunteering as part of the catering, housekeeping, conferencing and premises teams.
Mentoring, pastoral care and participation is a tutor group.

The total cost for this is £3,900, including accommodation and food.

Placements

Gappers will also have the opportunity to do between one and three mission placements with AWM-Pioneers. These placements are an opportunity to learn about Islam, Arabic culture, and language; to build friendships and learn how to share your faith in an Arab Muslim setting; and to see what it really takes to be a cross-cultural worker in the Arab world. Opportunties may include:

December – Two weeks with a UK team serving amongst Arab diaspora communities. (Approx. £350)
Easter – Five weeks with a team in North Africa or the Middle East. We will aim to match you with a team in a county and ministry area of your interest. (Approx. £1000)
Summer – One week with a short-term team serving amongst refugees in a UK city . (Approx. £250)
