EVENT: Compass 20-22 April 2018

What is Compass?

Compass is a residential weekend run by AWM-Pioneers with the sole purpose of helping you to explore your next steps towards cross-cultural mission in the Arab world. Whether you’ve just started to think about mission or you’ve got years of ministry experience under your belt, Compass is a great opportunity to set aside some time to reflect on God’s call on your life, discuss some key missional concepts, and find out if we’re the right agency for you.

Mercy attended one of our introductory weekends last year and found it helpful:

I’ve moved from a vague idea to a more focused view of what steps I should take or what sacrifices may lay in store for me as I follow God’s leading. Overall, the weekend left me with a greater passion for our gracious Saviour and a greater desire to make Him known to those around me!

What will be explored?

During our time together we’ll explore our core values at the heart of who we are, as well as some of the key issues you might face in overseas or cross-cultural ministry, including:

+ Passion for God
+ Unreached people groups
+ Working in cross-cultural teams
+ Church planting principles

+ The local church
+ Participatory servant leadership
+ What your next steps could be!
