the end of Ramadan, all previous sins are forgiven.

What if they fail to fast?  Or accidentally swallow liquid?  Their fasting then becomes vain.

The Christian’s certainty

Sin is serious.  Every day, we break God’s law and offend His holiness.  We could never do enough to wipe away our guilt or appease God’s judgement.  This is the bad news.

But there is good news. Christ died to take our sins upon Himself.  His death in our place is enough. We can now know true cleansing and the permanent removal of sins by trusting in Him.

The Bible says

‘But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.’ 1 John 1v7 [NKJV]
