Many Arab people are experiencing their first taste of democracy. Islamist parties keep emerging as the people’s choice.

In Tunisia, the Ennahda Movement – the moderate Islamist political party – dominates the recently elected Tunisian government. The new Egyptian President is the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohammed Mursi who narrowly defeated Mubarak’s last prime minister.

What does this mean for followers of Christ in the region? Are doors opening for gospel impact in the Arab world?
